Just rolled up my stats for a potential bard or inquisitive. Before racial mods they are 17,9,14,11,13,13.
I am thinking either a half-elf or an elf. Would like to make use of AoOs. For the bard it would be cross between Indiana Jones and Dr Who.
We are also only going to be able to get to level 12.

if you go bard then i suggest taking the whip mastery chain, a little intensive to do what you want you would need

Thanks. I am leaning towards the bard, though the inquisitive may help out as well since I think there are only going to be three PCs. We are doing the falcons hallow adventures and a few others connected to Andoran.

If you went with Inquisitor, would you rather be ranged or melee? Also, I might go half-elf over elf to avoid that hit to Con.
For a melee build, I'd go S 17/D 13/Co 13/I 9/W 16/Ch 11 assuming +2 to Wisdom. Use your free Skill Focus feat for Intimidate and go Dazzling Display route...you don't really need high Charisma for this because of the Skill Focus and Inquisitor bonuses. Just a thought.
Ranged, maybe S 13/D 17/Co 13/I 11/W 16/Ch 11, again +2 to Wisdom. Take Feather domain and Skill Focus: Perception to perceive the crap out of everything.
Judgements work with melee and range, so there's not really a strong advantage or disadvantage to either fighting style.
