Your body is probably coping with being back at work one night after over a month.
I guess so....I guess I'm not really ready to go back to full duty yet. I don't know. I didn't think that one night of sitting at a desk would wear me out so much, or make me hurt so much.
It can, people underestimate what sitting at a desk can do to your body, there's a reason we have couches at home.
But I still did my exercises and everything while I was at the desk, along with getting up and stretching from time to time.

Thanks, I did it with minimal damage to Henry and with the dog trying to lay on top of me while I do them. But I did them in about half the time it's been taking me. Poor Henry though, I sorry boobear. I hope your arm is alright.

Well....I was trying to do my alternating arm/leg extensions and Henry was trying to give me some support, but I starting listing to one side and started to fall over so he tried to catch me, but it caught him in his elbow and I think over extended it? It seems like it's hurting him, but he won't admit to it cuz it happened while he was trying to help me and he doesn't want me to feel bad, but I do anyways. Even though I laughed a bit when it happened. It was just nervous reflex, but he didn't let me hit the ground. I'm just sorry his arm got hurt.
You'll tell me if it gets really bad though right?

At least I was honest with the Dr today. He actually asked me if I thought I was ready to go back to full duty and start lifting patients yet that were 100lbs and up, and after hesitating for a bit I told him no. Then he looked at me and said, "I don't think you are either, yet." When I asked him why he asked me what I thought then, he just told me he wanted to hear what I thought. It's hard for me to admit when I can't do something, or need help doing it. I realize though that my body is kind of a fragile thing and I can't keep pushing it.
I'm trying to be good, I really really am....but, it's hard.
But you're making the effort and that's a great start.
*reluctant sigh* Yeah, I know.....it's really really hard though. It's hard for me to think that there are things I can't do, limits I can't just break through. I know I have to do what's best for me....but, sometimes doing what's best isn't always easy, in fact it rarely is.
On a lighter subject, I saw this and thought it would be a more appropriate style of dress for when Alethiro and Arista's daughter got a little older. It's still fun, but not too revealing. I can deal with that look a whole lot better. LOL
Heh, cute but still holding to mommy's sensibilities. I love that Arista's a contradiction in being old fashioned, prectically demure when she'd around Alethiro, but a foul mouthed ass kicker on the battle field.
Sorry but you have to accept that even Amazons are still human.

I just heated up some of Mark's brew on the stove and as soon as it's not completely scalding hot, I'm gonna drink it!
I think I'm sleepy now....I think I got a plan for dealing with this thing, but we have to get him out of the air first which means I have to get close enough to throw this bag of sticky stuff on him.
Got lots of stuff to do tomorrow though and James is coming over at some point, along with Mark if he doesn't end up working.

The weather people that are rarely ever right about anything, are now saying that we are supposed to have thunder storms or something sometime later today. *sigh* We'll see, here lately the weather has been doing almost the opposite of everything they've said. Like they know anything. Lol

Ahhh yeah, it's that time again. I'm so sick of political ads I'm ready to kill em all and be done with it. I don't trust a damn one of them. They're nothing but trained liars and thieves. They say whatever they think people want to hear while trying to get elected, then as soon as they're in office it's like, "Oh, I never said I was going to do such and such right away." It's such bull....it's just a way to make people think they have a choice, when really it's all a big scheme. But enough of that. That is so not the last thing I want to be thinking about before I go to sleep.
