I know Bethesda is working on TES Online, but i'm not a MMORPG'er so i want to share some thought on the solo titles; pity i only played Oblivion and Skyrim and read what Morrorwind was about.
Never saw Daggerfall or Arena, if not on youtube.
I loved Oblivion, and still playing Skyrim; what bothered me in both games is the fact they don't give the player a general guideline, something that says to the game "i'm playing as a rogue" or "as a fighter".
I started both games with a female bosmer rogue/archer, and ended up being the leader of all guilds (fighters, thieves, mages, assassins); i would like to tell the current leader of a guild "I'm an archer, i don't know how to wear a heavy armor" or "I'm not able to cast even the most simple apprentice spell" so to be able to finish the dialogue saying "You wanna thank me????? Just give me money and items, i don't want to be your leader!!!!!!"
Another weirdness: you can solve all quests of all the guilds by simply hacking at whatever moves!!!!!!!!!! even mages quests; these are quests for a mage? design them so they can only be solved by a
mage .......the same goes for the thieves guild
Skyrim does better in this regard, especially with the dark brotherhood line of quests. One the task to learn master Restoration spells also can only be attained by having high mage levels, but that is all.
The skill/leveling system???? It is great......til level 30 more or less ; after which i'ld like to have to choose how to go on: i'm an archer? then i can go as high as 100 on archery related skills (light armor, stealth, maybe one hand) and be limited to 70 in similar skills (in the above example, other roguish skills) ; for any other skill the system should limit you to 40-50 max ; you are playing as a ranger/rogue.......you cannot be a demigod in everything.
I repeat, i love these games and couldn't leave the PC once Dragonborn DLC was released, not until i had completed it; but they can be made a little more logic.
I hope there will be a TESVI title.....i heard it could be located in Valenwood.
Am i the only one to think so about this marvelous saga?

I like the fact that I can be good at EVERYTHING but only a master of one set of skills (perks are limited). Also it is legit impossible to "not be able to cast the simplest spells". You always start the game with at least Flames. Anybody with the money can buy a spellbook, read it, and cast the spell (assuming they have enough Magicka to cast it at all).
I agree the guilds could be reworked though the Thieves Guild seemed better suited for the sneaky thief type in Oblivion than Skyrim.

There's still two more (rumored) DLC to go: the next one concerning the Nord's origin and Dwemer history; the last DLC revolves around Thalmor removal and choosing Skyrim's next high king. Afterwards, expect the next Fallout installment, Elder Scrolls Online marketing (hype), and Fallout 4 DLC before hearing anything about the sixth Elder Scrolls title.

THE ELDER SCROLLS games are based around the idea that you have to do some of the roleplaying work yourself. The games are designed to give the player freedom to do as much as possible, and not lock people out of content due to class/race/skills, which is laudable but also results in occasional logic failures. Simultaneously being able to become the head of the assassins', thieves', mages' and fighters' guilds really is nonsensical, especially it happening twice in a row (it was much harder to do in the earlier games).
I know some gamers who will choose a playing style and voluntarily only carry out quests that make sense with that style (so a mage-focused character simply wouldn't do the Companion questline). They'd then have a separate character for doing other things. More work, but more convincing, perhaps.
There's also some mods which address these issues.
I hope there will be a TESVI title.....i heard it could be located in Valenwood.
Bethesda are hard at work on a final SKYRIM DLC and also on FALLOUT 4, so it's unlikely they've done more than think vaguely about what TES6 will be about. I'm guessing they will be looking closely at how THE ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE does and what feedback they get from players.
SKYRIM introduced a major change to the political make-up of the Empire, with the Aldmeri Dominion first breaking away and then winning a war to achieve religious supremacy over the continent. It makes sense for TES6 to address this in more detail, perhaps spanning Summerset Isle, Valenwood and Elseweyr (the Dominion's home provinces, all too small individually to make for a good game but together equalling Cyrodill in size). It'd be interesting to see if the plan is for the Dominion to become a permanent fixture of the setting or if the idea is for it to fall, allowing the Empire to become dominant again.
Alternately, it could be set in Hammerfell and be about the Empire trying to woo back Hammerfell to the imperial fold to stand against the Dominion later on. There's certainly no limits on the potential. They could even go to Akavir, though I think that might be a side-project they'd farm out to someone like Obsidian, as I think traditional ES players would miss Tamriel and the more established races and factions.

I read the lore.
I simply said i would liked them to be a bit more logical in advancement, Skyrim does better then Oblivion with the perks system.
I started new char from level 1 to try a new play style.....but in the end went back to my bosmer girl and simply begun using her with another set of skills.
Easier this way because of her backup resources :
when you have to choose to start training Two-hand weapons and Heavy armors, will you take iron armor and warhammer to begin with,or will you rather start with daedric armor and dragonbone two hand axe?
I heard Bethesda was at work on new DLCs, but unless they add the chance of going higher than 100 in a skill (seriously doubt that) i'll better start a new char to play those new adds with.
