We would like at least 2 more, 4 players and a GM seems to be the minimum for a game. Missing occasionally is something we have dealt with in the past and as long as we have prior notice we can definitely work with it. Just to clarify are we talking two weeks on, two weeks off; or are we talking bimonthly or some other iteration of missing games?

Sounds alright, we may want to find one more player to fill things out. Send me a PM and we'll see what we can arrange. I need to talk to one of the players as he is the one with the harder schedule/drive but it sounds like we should arrange something and see how this works out.

That would be a big help. I run games a lot and am looking forward to playing more. Looks like so far with this thread we've got 4 people. I can definitely host Fridays and if we have a cohesive group I may be able to nab a fifth. Games would be Friday evenings in Tacoma near TCC in the north end. Let me know what works for everyone and send me PMs if you all actually want to do this :)

Considering that right now I'm stuck using the bus (hoping to change that in over the next month) is there a chance we might be able to switch to Saturday?
If not, maybe someone lives down in this general direction I could carpool back with? Something tells me the bus wouldn't be running by the time game wraps up ;)

Sent you a PM, still hoping to hear from a couple people but it looks like I finally have enough to actually start. Mostly real PF but open to house rules/changes as long as they are upfront and not huge surprises.

kyrt-ryder |
Yeah I got it. Thought about replying by PM, then figured since you asked for a different contact method I should probably just do that whenever I could find the right time.
On the house rules/changes front, you don't have to worry about me springing surprises on you :P While I love to rip this game apart and re-arrange- sometimes to the degree it almost looks like a different game- I have a huge philosophical mandate to make sure everybody knows exactly what's changing upfront.
So while I might propose a 'Path-Ryder' game with drastic changes, I'd be sure to hand out all the information in some kind of physical reference document (and host it online somewhere- likely google docs- so it can be referenced that way as well.)

I *think* we've got space for one more, but whether or not we're actually still accepting recruits at this time is something I'm not certain of. Chris kind of assigned himself the task of recruitment manager :P
@ Chris: sorry I haven't been in touch the past few days, I had some dental work done and I've been really out of it. I should be back to myself sometime today.

Tragically, it appears I won't be able to make it this week. I've had an urgent family issue of sorts crop up last night, and I won't be able to show up tonight.
Hopefully I'll be able to make it up to you guys next week (but I will be there next week, whether I manage to make up for a missed session or not :P)
So it's up to you guys whether you want to cancel this week, or have the new guy who's comfortable DMing dive right in. It's probably for the best to do rotating campaigns at this point.

So apparently my memory was bad and I feel bad.
Last night I used the wrong armor / description on the goblins I was using. Oh well, everybody said it was fun despite a few more misses than I personally would have preferred (although really guys, I like critical feedback :P 'it was fun' is good to know, but if you can be more detailed that would rock.)
That being said, we've got a total of four players, so I am comfortable with 1 or 2 more, if anybody's interested.

The only critical feedback I had was really something that I was thinking about for a bit with your volley mechanic for the goblins, I'll talk to you about it when I think of things mostly I am adjusting to your rules as such and figuring what I need to do for my character. Other than that this also serves as a bump to strike up more interest. I would still prefer at least 1 more player as well.

kyrt-ryder |
Heh, it did seem like I threw you guys for a loop with that. It was a pretty low save DC, but without evasion some damage was likely to get through. As I recall it never seemed overly threatening though (although I have been continuing to contemplate it, to see exactly how it should expand to larger units.) That being said feel free to PM me whenever you like.

So... it turns out that at this point in my life- between education and work- I can't reliably handle a local table game. Here it is, Wednesday afternoon, and I'm still not certain whether or not I'll be able to make it Friday.
I'm really sorry guys, but it's unfair of me to continue this unreliable GMing. I wish you all the best of luck in finding a new GM (and more players if you still want them.)
Here's hoping I'll still be welcome when things settle down, but I understand if that's not possible.
Peace guys.

Hey, I see from your last post that you are possibly in the market for a GM. I realize that the last post was a month ago, so maybe you have all the people you need for your game, but I am looking to join a group and I don't mind being a GM. I am in Federal Way, and since you are in Tacoma, I could track you down pretty easy. Let me know if you are still looking. Thanks!

I sent you a PM, MageRage. Get back to me either on this post or by PM.

Hi all,
I'm in West Seattle (south end, near Burien/White Center), and our group just recently had a dropout (a second dropout, I should say; we had one a few months ago), that puts us in the 3-4 regulars (plus GM). If any of you are still looking for a game and don't mind heading north we would like to add a new person or two.
One of our players now lives in Federal Way (but works in Seattle), so it's possible some sort of carpool could be arranged, but that would be up to him.
You can reply by thread or by PM.
Current campaign has just started pretty recently. Characters are still 3rd level, and will be incorporating mythic rules as characters advance.

New to Pathfinder, my roommate and I are looking for a Pathfinder Society gaming group that can get together closer to Burien or Normandy Park area. We would both like to be able to experience more of what Pathfinder Society Organized Play has to offer, but are willing to play in any other type of Pathfinder game as well. For PFS, we only have low-level characters, with a single 2nd level character between the two of us.

My roommate and I are both interested in possibly joining your group if you would have us. When does your group normally get together, because my roommate is running a game of Skull & Shackles on Thursday nights, so we would not be available on that particular day.

Looking for a pathfinder society group in South King County ( Renton / Kent / Auburn ) that either needs one more player and meets between 1 and 4 times per month on weeknights
OR
for a DungeonMaster who can storytell for a group of four about once a month on a weeknight (and we'd put out a call for 1-2 more members).

My group has lost someone to schedule changes and we're looking for 1-2 more. We currently play Tuesdays from 6-11 at Wayword Coffee in Seattle.
