If I want to take an archetype that would replace brew potion, would it be instantly banned due to the PFS rules, or would it work as normal, but replace the extra bombs feat?
Which archetype? Is it listed in the PFS Additional Resources document?
-edit- Aha:
Grenadier from Pathfinder Society Field Guide.
"Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Pathfinder Society Field Guide - All rules in this book are legal for play in Pathfinder Society Organized Play, and this book is considered part of the Core Assumption."
So since it's legal, I would assume that it just replaces the extra bombs.

Per http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety/about/additionalResources#RPG:
Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Ultimate Magic
Archetypes: broodmaster summoner, clone master alchemist, gravewalker witch, pack lord druid, master summoner, reincarnated druid, synthesist summoner, undead lord cleric, vivisectionist alchemist archetypes are not legal for play.
So assuming you didn't take a banned archetype, you'd replace extra bombs with the archetype ability.

I was considering Crypt Breaker, which is not on the banned list, but the loss of brew potion blocks both it and Grenadier, unless there is an official errata =(
It is perfectly legal, and so is Grenadier. The lose of Brew Potion does not make them illegal. Would be kind of silly if an archetype from the PFS Field Guide book was illegal in PFS. (Grenadier)
