Can a Master Chymist use Mutagens even if they are out of Mutate uses?

Advice

I'm looking to go Master Chymist in a campaign, and I was wondering if you can use a Mutagen you make to transform even after all uses of Mutate are expended. The description of the Mutate ability isn't really clear on this point.

I don't believe so.

I am pretty sure they can, because it mentions that using a mutagen instead of the ability puts you into the mutated form (as opposed to the normal alchemist mutagen form). Away from my books right now, so I will check later to confirm if someone else has not.

It has its own separate number of usages per day, and explicitly does not use up a mutagen, so yes.
