Really just trying to work out if I'm ice skating up hill at the moment.
The build has gone through several iterations and so far its hanging in there, A Mythic rank was a godsend but overall I'm getting this nagging feeling that I'm ice skating up a hill that's quickly going to become a vertical cliff.
Rough specs
Orc
Witch 9 (SOWD)
STR 18
DEX 12 (14)
CON 18 (20)
INT 10
WIS 8
CHA 5 (7)
(brackets are gear enchanted)
Feats
Arcane Strike
Power Attack
Extra Hex
Extra Hex
(Our campaign we get vital strike chain for free)
Mythic Feats
Mythic Arcane Strike
(Fire this up with Bane for +3 to attack +5 to damage +2d6 untyped damage, also removes the need for swift action each round for 1 min)
Mythic Archmage Wild Arcane (can't beat up to 5 uses of highest level spells)
Patron Transformation
At 9th currently using Vermin Shape II with either Mantis or Scorpion shapes.
10th will go to Beast Shape III
12th-16th go to Dragon Shape I-III
Honestly I'm looking at the goal line of rolling around combat as a Huge Dragon with enough HP to at least make a game of it. But my fear is when I get there I won't be able to hit anything even with mythic arcane strike adding enchantments to natural weapons on top of an amulet of mighty.
GM is reasonable flexible with rebuilds especially in this case where I'm flying blind trying to fit the square peg of full caster into the round hole of frontline fighter. And for the life of me I can't make feral combat training/hex strike work to my satisfaction (waaay to expensive in feats)
Help ? thanks :)

Well, I'm personally inclined to say that you've done a good job on keeping your strength high enough that your to-hit should be pretty reasonable. The main problem is going to be the fact that you are using a 1/2 BAB class.
One possibility might be to take a level of fighter/barbarian/ranger/whatever, that will give you martial weapon proficiency, and then prestiging into Eldritch Knight. You'll only miss 1 level of spellcasting progression (well... 2, because of the dip for martial weapon proficiencies), but you'll get full BAB for those levels and a nice hit die (though with Con being your casting stat, I suppose it's not that bad).
The only thing you might want to double check is whether or not your GM will allow you to obtain your Patron Spells (particularly Form of the Dragon III, as your long term goal) through the spellcasting advancement that EK gives. By RAW, I'm not positive whether you do or not.
This will unfortunately hurt your Hex progression, but if you want to melee people, you wouldn't necessarily be able to spam them all that often anyway. You can also still rely on the nice low level ones (Evil Eye, Misfortune, Fortune), and you can still hit level 8 for the bump to them easily enough. If you don't want to follow EK all the way through, Major Hexes are still a possibility as well.
Also, make sure to keep touch spells in mind! Witches have a lot of good ones, so if you're going to be in melee anyway, along with having a high strength, enjoy the debilitations you can lay down on enemies. Excruciating Deformation, Fleshworm Infestation, and Touch of Slime, can all be pretty cool, and they are low enough level to be quickened eventually, letting you full attack from next to an enemy, cast, and not provoke any attacks of opportunity.
So, there's some advice I can think of. Hope it helps a bit.
