Throwing Bombs While Blind

Rules Questions

So, my alchemist is likely to be blind for the next few weeks. I'm currently reduced to size tiny and riding a commoner, using him to tell me where to throw bombs. But can someone help me figure out what my penalties are, how aided targeting would work, etc?

Basically, you have a 50% miss chance. your commoner can use aid another and that will give you a +1 to hit. But, that won't alleviate the 50% miss chance.

For your tiny size, you get a +2 to attack and AC.

Sounds like you'll have some stories that will be funny... some day.

But what if the alchemist decides to attack an empty square? Is there a "miss change" for this?

And if so what happens to the bomb? Does it uses the miss splash attack rules to decide where is lands?

BTW, are your bombs tiny also? Or are they the same size as your original character. Why not get your 'riding beast' to throw for you? I suppose that is cheating, but it is also creative thinking.

Also your Avatar is perfect for your character's current size :D

It is not possible by RAW.

An alchemist's bomb, like an extract, becomes inert if used or carried by anyone else.

Your friend can turn araound and give commands like "throw now!". Then you use the normal blinded condition modifiers.

Aid Another only works in melee but if you are in melee use the Aid Another RAW for your friend.
