Dervish of the Dawn Here
He gets Dervish dance for free, does this mean he does not need weapon finesse?
Echoing a yup.
Do note it doesn't give you weapon finesse either, so you still use str for everything else as normal.
Ummm, so are we talking about the Dervish of Dawn Fighter Archetype, or the Dawnflower Dervish Bard Archetype?
You still need weapon fineese to use your dex to your hit roll.

Dervish Dance wrote: Benefit: When wielding a scimitar with one hand, you can use your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier on melee attack and damage rolls. You treat the scimitar as a one-handed piercing weapon for all feats and class abilities that require such a weapon (such as a duelist’s precise strike ability). The scimitar must be for a creature of your size. You cannot use this feat if you are carrying a weapon or shield in your off hand.
I think the old version was "just" Dex to Damage, but it was updated to include to-hit as well.

yep, I was wrong. It seems that the dervish of dawn is A very dipeable archetype.

Well, that rumor had to start somewhere, and I figured that'd be the best place for it to start.
