Trouble with alchemist "casting"

Rules Questions

is the drinking of a preprepared extracts considered an int baced skill (refering to the barbarians rage and how it says that you cant use int baced skills) or is the preperation itself the int baced skill

Shadow Lodge

It's not a skill at all actually. The preparation is just like a wizard memorizing spells only instead of going into a wizards head the spell is "stored" in the vial the extract is stored in. Anytime an alchemist could drink a regular potion the alchemist could use one of his/ her extracts.

ok kool a drunken barbarian/alchemist/master chemist sounds awsome then.

Barbarian/Alchemist is a lot of fun, but if you're going past level 7 (which it sounds like you are if master chymist is on your build) ensure you don't put more than 1 level into Barbarian. As you push up into higher levels, Alchemist suffers big time for every hit to his class level.

I have noticed this and am looking at a slightly different build
