Hi everyone, I am new to pathfinder and have been loving it so far. We are starting a new campaign and I am super interested in a combo I have been hearing a bit about in the forums.
I am looking to make an arcane duelist / Dragon disciple that uses a great sword. (I know its probably cliche :)
How should I proceed with Feats and level progression? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Well, there's a thread with a guide to the Dragon Disciple here.
Race is up to you, but Nagaji or Angel-blooded Aasimar are both good fits.
As for feats, well, here's a suggestion:
You need at least 5 levels of Arcane Duelist to qualify, but you could take 6 or 7 levels first (6th nets another bonus feat and +1 to all saves, 7th grants 3rd level spells).
As for General Feats:
1st) Martial Weapon Proficiency - Greatsword
3rd) Weapon Focus - Greatsword
5th) Power Attack
7th) Cleave
9th) Great Cleave
I'm sure others may chime in with something different, but this is my 2 coppers worth!
Cheers!

Actually, it looks like you can start ANY bardic performance as a Move Action at 7th!
Rallying Cry replaces Countersong
Bladethirst replaces Suggestion
(You won't be getting Mass Bladethirst, so that's a non-issue)
Otherwise, you retain the other forms of Bardic Performance.
(Remember that the Arcane Duelist swaps out a number of other Class Features.)
BTW: You need a perform skill: I would suggest Perform (oratory).
Cheers!

Thanks this is great advice so far! I really appreciate it! So how far in levels should I go? Stop at bard 7 then the rest in DD? I heard AD 16/ DD 4 was the way to go so I was curious...

Well, I guess that depends upon what you want to get out of Dragon Disciple, and what you want to get out of Arcane Duelist.
If the +2 Str is all you want DD for, then 4th is fine.
However, you might want to compare what you give up from AD in exchange for what you get out of DD. Remember that "+1 level of existing arcane spellcasting class" only increases your CL, Spells/Day and Spells Known. You won't get an increase to any other AD class features for levels of DD (the only class that has good synergy with DD is the Sorcerer).
I will usually put together a comparison of different builds from 1st to 20th to see the differences (BAB, Saves, HD, Max Spell Level, CL, etc.).
You may find that staying an Arcane Duelist is better.
You may find that you want to take 10 levels of AD and all 10 levels of DD.
You may find some other level combo that gives you the unique vision you have for the character.
Or, you could play your character without planning overmuch. Remember, each time you level, you decide what class to take, so you can go back and forth if you like.

Fighter 1
Bard 7
DD
Fighter 1, instead of burning a feat for greatsword you get all martial weapons free plus a combat feat for a level 1 fighter (essentially netting you two feats).
Bard 7 or 8, Inspire Courage as a move action. I say go to 8 as you aren't losing any BAB for doing so.
DD as desired.
Some feats were already mentioned but I'd strongly recommend Arcane Strike early in your career.
