My group has recently had a little disagreement. I was under the impression that the Monk's Flurry of Blows would NOT stack with TWF, but there is a member of our group who claims that it would stack. This seems very odd to me, and I just wanted to get it cleared up...could someone explain to me how, whichever way it goes?

Flurry of Blows (Ex): Starting at 1st level, a monk can make a flurry of blows as a full-attack action. When doing so he may make one additional attack using any combination of unarmed strikes or attacks with a special monk weapon (kama, nunchaku, quarterstaff, sai, shuriken, and siangham) as if using the Two-Weapon Fighting feat (even if the monk does not meet the prerequisites for the feat).
flurry already utilises the effects of the twf feats and feats don't stack with themselves unless otherwise noted in the description

I think they are after the point that the new monk errata (in their minds) has changed that, because the monk can now (again) flurry with a single weapon.
I think the key here is action economy.
A flurry requires the ability to full attack, TWF requires the ability to full attack.
You cannot both flurry and TWF because they are both full attacks.
