I'm not smart enough to be the 1st to think pf this, but I couldn't find anything with a search. Also, I'm not enough of an optimizationist to crunch the numbers on if this would make a difference, but here goes...
Could a standard archer build (fighter) for instance, just enough levels of Alchemist to get 2 vestigial arms, follow the 2 weapon fighting tree, and be able to fire 2 composite longbows?

Why stop at two bows?
A Synthesist can get as many arms as he likes. Only problem is his dexterity would be lacking - but hopefully quantity would overcome quality. A bipedal half-elf synthesist could have 14 arms by level 8, which means 7 bows.
I know, I know, we are all sick of synthesist summoners.

The Limbs evolution states that:
The eidolon does not gain any additional natural attacks for an additional pair of arms, but it can take other evolutions that add additional attacks (such as claws or a slam)
That's always the way that I've understood it. The eidolon doesn't automatically get natural attacks (i.e. punches), but it can wield weapons to get extra attacks.
