Yeah, except for the critique my item thread, which I'm trying to avoid, the RPG Superstar forum posts have slowed to a trickle as we await the reveal and voting tomorrow. Releasing the round 3 rules today would give us something to talk about.
I think the CR will be set, but this on reflection isn't really a twist, it is kind of expected to allow like power level monsters to be assessed by the public side by side. Hugely varying CR's would make that more difficult.
And here's a fun thought for you...

That's funny. I've been doing monster research and I ran across the flumph in Bestiary 3. I have to admit I didn't know it was there. It gave me a little chuckle to see it after all this time.
Then again, it could be the singing mushrooms... But, does anyone else know the name... I'll just go and "camp" for a bit till some clever soul gives the answer.
