What is Sanctified Prophet good for?

The PrC... does it do anything that makes it worth taking? I just can't see it.


Roll playing? I dont know, a lot of arctypes are like that.

Nope, it's pretty lousy. Most of the Prestige Classes in Pathfinder are lousy.

Really interesting NPC class. Imagine a merchant prince, PCs love robbing merchant princes. But this one has seen them coming with his divinations and can cast enchantments on them.

I wouldn't want to play one, but the enchantments, the cheap Planar Binding, the Charisma needed and the sheer cash means that he could be a very strong antagonist leader.

I think this is why Paizo has been moving away from PrCs and instead doing archetypes. One doesn't need to do a feat tax to get an archetype.
