Naga / Shade / Vulpine-blooded. What to make?

Advice

Silver Crusade

I have acquired a chronicle giving me access to a Kitsune, Nagaji, or Wayang character. What to make? I find myself a little overwhelmed by the... Responsibility? Of choosing one. I only get the one shot at it up until level 2. I am considering the following so far:

1. Nagaji Saurian Shaman Druid, melee variety with animal companion. Seems pretty good. I don't see many Druids in Pathfinder Society though. Are there pitfalls that I'm not seeing? Also, what companion to take? I'm considering Allosaurus, Giant Gecko, Stegosaurus, or Spinosaurus.

2. Wayang Wildblooded (Sage) Sorceror. Going for Illusion and Shadow spells to take advantage of the Wayang racial bonus to Shadow spells. Sage bloodline to best utilize the Wayang racial bonus to Int. Am I better off with straight Wizard? Or even Bard?

3. Kitsune? Are these the most overdone of the races opened up by this chronicle? I wanted to do something a little more original.

1. Have you considered the Naga Aspirant Druid from ARG? Like a regular druid only with a selection of wizard/cleric spells to pick from (can you say magic missile and shield of faith!), Also you get to wild shape into a naga.

2. I do have a powerful love for the sage sorcerer. Wizard would work just as well but depends on how much book-keeping you want to do.

3. Not seen that many derp-foxes around in actual play really but they do seem to be quite popular with people from what I've heard (I'd certainly play one given the chance). Some of their rogue talents do look like fun!

Lots of good options for that boon.

Myself, I decided to be a little ... odd. Mine wound up being a Kitsune Sorcerer (Undead bloodline) (Razmiran Priest). Not your average Kitsune...

Silver Crusade

@ratlord - I looked at the Naga Aspirant. The spells added are nice, but losing spontaneous casting bears some closer consideration. I also liked the bonus to Druid level when wild shaping into reptiles.

As for the Kitsune, I have considered Rogue. They seem well suited to the role.

My Kitsune is a Sorcerer 3 (Karmic Bloodline) and a Rogue 2 (Kitsune Trickster) he has the Realistic Likeness feat and like 7 or 8 Charm Person spells per day.. change into your enemy's ally in the middle of a fight and throw some Charm Person spells around ... lots of fun...

I like the Naga Aspirant build. The reason that you don't see a lot of Druids in PFS I think is because the power curve is slow (they start getting good around 4-5th level sort of like alchemists IMO) and the Cleric is a better pound for pound divine caster... the few that I have seen get out to PFS games are melee builds.

Here's the Crunch for my Nagaji
and below is some flavor. She's a level 2 "Paladin" of Yaezhing.

Flavor:
Having been bred to fight demons by her Naga Masters, Chun Hei has been granted 10 years to better her self before being called for duty. What better organization than the Pathfinders she thought.

Having accomplished her training in the Dragon Empires she has only recently transferred to the Grand Lodge in Absalom, thanks to the new spirit of friendship between the Grand Lodge and the Lantern Lodge. Although she has not been entirely happy with her initial assignments (being sent right back to the Dragon Empire as a guide was unpleasant) she has been pleased to meet so many fellow knowledge seekers.

Chun Hei has been quite pleased by the Pathfinder's new focus on Varasia. Seeing it as a treasure trove of ancient knowledge and artifacts that may one day help Chun Hei in her eventual duty.

@DarthGoob - The Naga Aspirant seems better for a caster Druid. I was planning on going Melee, and keeping my Wisdom as low as convenient to get my Str and Con up.

Shadow Lodge

For pure flavor, I find it hard to beat a Shadowcaster Wizard Wayang. It's been on my "to-do" list for quite some time.

Silver Crusade

I had my mind set on Sorceror for some reason. An Illusionist Wizard might be fun. Different from what I usually do.

I got one of those boons, and used it to make a nagaji battle oracle. The str and cha bonuses go well it.

Sage sorc is a lot weaker than iillusionist. You get all these skill points as an int class and sorc has a poor skill list. The wizard would be better in diplo and most knowledges.

I would try to get stealth through a trait to round out the build

Personally, I like skills to much to play a Nagaji. So I used my boon to make a Wayang Lore Warden archer fighter. Since Wayangs are the only small race without a Strength penalty, they seem to be especially suited for martial characters.

I created a nagaji arcane duelist, it's a combat oriented bard archetype. The charisma and strength bonuses seem custom fit for a melee oriented bard or paladin. The natural armor bonus doesn't hurt either.

Silver Crusade

I'm also now looking at a Wayang Shadowcaster Illusionist Wizard.

Personally I play a nagaji Sorceror/Dragon Disciple It seems like a good path. And with the Str start and auto ups as the dragon it leaves a lot of points for cha for casting
