I am trying to find feats for a +3 int companion. This is the list of possibilities i have found but i am sure there are other things i don't know about because i haven't played for long and have yet to be melee.
Combat Reflex
Toughness
Imp. Natural Armor and Attack
Iron Will
Dodge
Mobility
Rending Claws
Spring Attack
Light armor Prof.
Precise Strike
My goal is to have a mix of damage and tank.
Thanks in advance :)

Greetings, fellow traveller.
I'd not take Iron Will - Devotion is usually good enough for most things.
I'd also take Armor Prof. over Imp. Nat. Armor.
I'd not take Precise Strike.
I'd do take Impr. Natural Attack, Dodge and Mobility for getting kitty into flanking position and Toughness.
As teamwork feat I'd take Outflank, to me securing a hit has priority over 1d6 damage. Ideal would be to take the feat at the same time as your AC - at lvl 13.

I've found Iron Will handy for ACs starting at mid-levels, since Devotion doesn't cover all Will saves. In particular, had a problem with my AC and fear effects.
Armour Proficiency is definitely better than Improved Natural Armour. Nonmagical studded leather or chain barding already gives you a better armour bonus than the +1 natural, and you can magic it up.
I agree with Ruyan that Outflank's to-hit bonus is probably better than Precise Strike's damage bonus. Of course, both feats depend on the AC having a reliable flanking partner who also has the feat (either you or a party member - rogues love this).

No dodge and mobility, no armor prof., get mithril light barding. AC will be good until high levels. Get combat reflexes, power attack IUS, feral combat training and style feats. Add INA. Make sure you or someone in your group has craft feats as it will be hard to keep the ac viable after lvl ~15 without investing lots of money.

AC are part of a character. The class of is important as it changes the role of the animal companion. Is this starting at level 1? Is the character in play at this time?
Example: From characters in home game.
Human Bear Shaman (Eye for Talent)
Bear Animal Companion
Light Armor
Medium Armor
Power Attack
Toughness
Human Ranger (Eye for Talent, & Boon Companion)
Small Cat Animal Companion
Weapon Finesse
Agile Maneuvers
Tandem Trip
Toughness

Why would you ever pick bear shaman?
And as far as you can use light armor without feat anyway (not having any penalties) spending two feats for medium armor sucks badly.
To hit is an ac's problem at higher levels. To hit and overcoming DR. Getting style feats is probably the best thing you can do for a cat. But I mentioned what is important earlier anyway.

Companions don't get a penalty for using light without prof.?
