Witch: vampire-themed

My group is coming to the end of Carrion Crown Book 1 and I have been playing a witch in the campaign. The GM is giving us a chance to make some tweaks to our characters before launching into the next book.

I am playing a bonded witch who has necromantic and vampire influences in her background. However, I am just not too happy with the way I have built her. Has anyone considered a vampire-themed witch in the past? Can you make any suggestions on feats, hexes or spells?

Note: the dhampir is not an option in our campaign.

Maybe take Eldritch Heritage and those feats for the Undead bloodline?

Yes, its pretty good. Unfortunately, it focuses heavily on dhampirs.

Tiefling then.

They have such vast amounts of options for Physical Features and heritage.

You could be borne of Dhampir, or an Ancestor of a Vampire Succubus.

That might be an option! :)

Another option is Aasimar, which have a vast selection of Physical Features as well. Perhaps the first Vampire was a fallen Angel.

With the Aasimar option, you can take the Scion of Humanity alternate racial trait. Then take the Racial Heritage(Dhampir) feat, and then take some of the Blood Drinker Dhampir feats.

It's pretty obvious, but Blood Transcription and Vampiric Touch are both on the witch spell-list.

I have chosen the blood spells! :) I totally forgot about the Racial Heritage feat and have exchanged an Extra Hex feat for it. Thanks guys.

You could be a winged Vampire later if you wanted.

I think she's more of an Evoker than a witch. :D
