Encumbrance question

Rules Questions

I seem to remember that when you are encumbred you also have some ASF but i can't find it anywhere, does such a rule exist in PF or am i again mixing editions and/or games?

Carrying Capacity: "A medium or heavy load counts as medium or heavy armor for the purpose of abilities or skills that are restricted by armor."

-edit- whoops, confused myself. I think what I meant was that Table: Encumbrance Effects doesn't list ASF, so unless you're explicitly prohibited from casting in armor, then a medium/heavy load doesn't hamper you.

You don't incur spell failure chance just from being encumbered by weight.

Oladon has it right. Encumbrance has no bearing on one's ability to cast spells.

Thank you.
