What you want to be when you grow up

Anyone already planned what they want to be when they start playing?
Personally, I might have a miner(Non-Combat)/dragon-slayer(Combat) hybrid

As usual in this sort of game I am conflicted.

I love the rogue. I love and dread the Wizard. I am attracted to the Druid. I know I would do well as a warrior. The cleric is like a wizardly warrior who gets to heal and nurture his companions...

Most likely I will go Elven Wizard... Or rogue, for disarm traps and lockpick.... Or Druid due to my ideal alignment... or...

That question is like asking someone their favorite book, or favorite song, or favorite food...

Unfair!

I really need to see more details before I start committing, but a katana wielding settlement leading wizard intrigues me.

Liberty's Edge

1 person marked this as a favorite.

A little bit taller, perhaps a baller.

I strongly suspect I'll be playing a research wizard. But a lot of that will depend on how the classes end up working and if the playstyle is viable.

Im torn.

A paladin would be great, playing a paladin can be a lot of fun.

However as i was rereading the blogs something stood out to me. The idea of a solider career path. Someone who gives bonuses and leads formations. With that in mind iv had an idea for a fighter character that specializes in group warfare.

For my second character It will be a dedicated crafter of some sort, what kind of sort im not sure yet, probably a wizard.

Have a girl who looks good. I'll even call her.

A lot will depend on how the crafting system ends up. I for one would love to play a crafting type who know how to make a sword but knowledge of using it is mostly the famous you hit them with the pointy end.

I also love mining really love mining!

Depends on how the mechanics pan out and the playstyle of the game. As a rule of thumb, I play martial classes. If I can play a Rogue without getting the criminal flag for every single action I want to undertake, I'll go that path, if not - some sort of sword wielding guy -like a Cavalier, Ranger, Barb...who knows.

If theres any justice in this world someday I'll be able to play as a ratfolk. Until that day comes probably a halfling paladin. I'm a sucker for a riding dog!

I want my first character to be a sorcerer focusing on fire magic (i.e., fire elemental bloodline). I'll make him a half-orc when that race becomes available. He's going to be on the research/support side of things (instead of combat).

Monk who makes a living as a herbalist, with a focus (if possible) on disarm, sunder, and bull rush. I defiantly want to be proficient with a Staff of Circles.
