...and all of a sudden I feel like I'm playing The Price is Right lol
...oh, I hope I don't go over! crosses fingers
We generally don't release the exact number of entries in a given year, but looking at the number of submissions, it looks like our biggest year yet.

But if we can only get the chance to vote on each item once, I am sure someone will vote on them all. If they are a kind person, they might share the number with others.
Well, perhaps that can be reconsidered this year? Considering that the voters are going to potentially actually get to see all the entries?

The number I think is closest +1 that was always the d*ck move on the price is right

We vote on each pair only once. But individual items can repeat. You could still estimate the total number of entries you saw while voting, but you'd need to track which one's are "new" and which you've seen before - no small task.

Submissions that broke one or more of the rules have already been eliminated (over word count, not a wondrous item, joke item, copyright violation, etc.), so even someone keeping very detailed records of every item they see won't ever know the entire submission numbers. Just know that this year we received more entries than any previous year and feel great when your item is selected as among the top 32—a smaller percentage of the total participant count than any year yet.
1321, though only 1129 are in the voting.
I've been keeping track, and the count is well over 60 so far. ;)
