So the pathfinder campaign my friend is running is probably going to be concluding soon and I'm looking at possible characters for the next campaign. Looking at magus archtypes, I liked the flavor of the Kapenia Dancer, but it seems to me that the archtype gives up more than it gets back and wasn't sure if I was missing something about the archtype.
So I'm looking for advice on how to build one effectively. 20 points I believe is what we'll start with.

I was looking at playing one. I had a couple thoughts of how I wanted to do it.
My idea was to a Kapenia Dancer 4/Maneuver Master (Monk) 1/Shadow Dancer 10
Kapenia dancer get the magus arcana to try and steal when they make an attack. So I kind of wanted to make a character based around that, since in my campaigns we don't see much of any of the steal maneuver. I also like that you get to add intelligence to your defense with Uncanny defense.
the most important stats here would be Dex>Cha>Int because I was going to use her as the face.
My idea was to utilize Crane Style because Blade Scarf is a one handed weapon.
So based on what my plan was:
Human: Weapon Finesse
Class Feat: Weapon Focus (Bladed Scarf)
1 - Dodge
3 - Mobility
5 - Combat Reflexes
5th Level I would take Maneuver Master giving me:
Unarmed Strike
Crane Style
Improved Steal
7 - Combat Expertise (to fight defensively, cause she has nothing else to do)
9 - Crane Wing
11 - Greater Steal
13 - Crane Riposte
For flavor reasons that is what I kind of came up with in the past (in my character files). This won't really appeal to most people though.
