There have been a great many people who've claimed they wished to play with me. I'm interested in seeing if it's true. Sadly, the last few online games I've tried have all fallen through, often before they even begin, so now I'm trying a different method: one that doesn't involve ME begging and kowtowing.
If you would like to have the honor of having me in your game, please lead the way to your recruitment thread.
I prefer a fast game (about one post a day) with high-powered characters (20- to 25-point buy) and as few house rules as possible. I'm looking to join as a player, but I also make a great resident rules lawyer and/or assistant GM.

Well, it's not Pathfinder, although it is Northern Avistan, kind of.
If you happen to be interested, we would be happy to have you...

Well, I am recruiting for a game set in Midgard Campaign Setting by Kobold Press and Wolfgang Baur. I also have a long Midnight game, but it uses heavily modified Pathfinder classes and magic system, so I don't know if you'd like that kind of a game. Anyway, you are welcome to my Midgard Game. I also prefer 1 post per day minimum, with the weekends off.

Why is the world so house rule happy?
I'll see if any of my DM's would take you. I personally would like to, but I think you must make DM's cry....
I've yet to accomplish such a feat.
EDIT: Not that I'm trying or anything...

I have yet to see an online game that wasn't at least 20% house rules. Some are so heavily altered, I don't even recognize them as Pathfinder.
If this is honest, then you haven't been looking that hard...
All of the ~20 games I am in on this forum are well less than 20% house rules. And the majority are unaltered from base PF.

How did you get to 20%?
I have some modifications for play-by-post that could be called "house rules" one of them is party initiative or "us and them" initative that is if the monsters win initiative they go first or all the PCs go first.
On a side note RD maybe it is the whining that makes them cry.. ; )

You could always find a pbp whose GM matches your style of play and see if you can join; immediately or when their is inevitable attrition of players.
Alternatively, apply for a pbp by a GM who has a proven track record when they create a recruitment thread.
But yeah, there are alot more players than GM's out here.

RD,
I too like your style and share some of your same sentiment. I'm looking for a PFS group. No house rules (unless you call the PFS rules as such), a min of 1 post a day, and people we agree that the story must work within the frame work of the rules or the story should be rewritten. If anyone else in this thread is interested in starting up a continuing PFS group, shoot me a PM...or threadjack. Muahahaha.

It can't be a valid tactic and an ego wank, MiniGM?
KenderKin, if I remember correctly, I looked over your recruitment thread and didn't feel it was a good fit. Thank you for the offer, and I wish you the best of luck in your game.
