Fighting Zombies:
We pretty much know due to our passing peak-oil supply and climate
change the first Food Riots will occur about 2030 (rioting because there
is not enough food.)
Remember that book and movie The Road? Well, in it, people
ate people, because there was not enough food. Getting back to zombies,
it will not be roving bands of undead eating other people, but roving
bands of near starving living. Zombies are going to happen for real,
but not in the form we currently see in the movies. They will be
living, rioting people.
All this Zombie Apocalypse preparation stuff should be taken seriously.
In our lifetimes, we may have to fight to the death to avoid being eaten
by other people.
That is all. Carry on..

yep, preparing (almost ready) to grab my bag and run at the first sign of serious trouble. Do not build bunkers and horde a year of food, stay mobile and avoid people
Will you head north or south; or to an island? I like the island idea,
but think it may end up being a trap.I don't think most people like the cold, so i'm going north.

I grew up hunting and gathering in the woods, i will rely mostly on that. my plan is to have a stock of food to make up for what i cannot get from the wild.

The problem is so will everybody else. You will not be alone out there
gathering in the woods.
I'm thinking a small group is best <10. This will provide for better
security and at the same time limiting the number of mouths to feed.
