PFS Help / Request

My girlfriend plays PFS alongside me, asks for help on building her character and usually does what i suggest.

However she came to me with a request, and i dont know how to fulfill it. You see my daughter as been watching Avatar: the Last Airbender, and my girlfirend has decided that she wants Momo as a pet in PFS.

How can i make this happen for her? I know the monkey familiar is legal, but how do i give it wings?

The best thing I can think of off the top of my head would be a Summoner. The summoner's eidolon can look like whatever you choose to have it appear as. It gains evolutions (one of which can be wings) along the way that you can use to customize it with. So you essentially could have Momo as your eidolon AND depending on how you built it, it would still be useful in combat.

There may be other ways PFS-wise, but that's the first one that pops into my head. Some others may soon arrive here other advice.

The only way I can see this happening (in PFS) is by being a Summoner and making a small-sized Eidolon around the concept. Note that it could not actually fly until the Summoner is 5th level, but it COULD have the Wings evolution before that. This is a little more resource-draining, since the concept is having it as a pet and not a combat animal. Making it skill-based COULD work and fill a pet-like status, but is a little but unoptimal. If you made her a control and buff Summoner, however, she'd still be super-useful.

The Evolved Familiar won't help (like I used to think before I read the full text oh so long ago) since it only adds a single, 1-pt evolutions; not 1 point OF evolution(s).

Heh. I don't know The Last Airbender, but it sounds like you're talking about a winged monkey. I have a tattooed sorceress character loosely based on a version of the Wicked Witch of the West, and I tried to get a winged monkey as her familiar, too. At low levels, I'm settling for an owl. I'm still trying to figure out if I can get this done with a creative homunculus and the Improved Familiar feat at level 7.

But now you all have me thinking about doing another version of the Wicked Witch as a summoner, with an winged monkey eidolon doing front line fighting. It would have to be a grappler, since that was their main attack against Dorothy.
