I noticed that some other class archetypes are able to disable magic traps similar to the rogue's trapfinding ability, like Bard Archivists and Ranger Trappers. Is there anything in the rules preventing a Knife Master rogue from multiclassing into another class for a specific archetype and gaining the ability to disable magical traps again?

If you start exploring this as an option you will find the Urban Ranger archetype, which gives the Rogue Trapfinding ability (albeit at level 3).
Then, if your anything like me you will come to realize that just being a TWF Urban Ranger will give you a lot of other perks beyond Trapfinding that may have you re-consider going Rogue at all.
Then you'll read STR Ranger, Lastoths, and Treatmonks guide to Rangers (all different variations) and you'll be sold on the class forever!
