Dominia, the land once known as Eastern Corynth. Science has been allowed to progress in the interests of the Church, and alchemy, engineering and magical machinery are prolific amongst the wealthy establishments.

Coal is the new gold.

Races are segregated between countries, and forced to remain in their own settlements for fear of death.

Dominia is the land of the Humans, and is divided into three districts:

Fengraf, the southern shore, once known as Overlook. The entire area is a ghoulcallers paradise, with the church using the dead as slaves in the mines of the old Doomhelm. Ghoulcallers are scientific necromancers. They're also called Stitchers by those who don't like them.

Innistrad, the wealthy middle, where the city of Markov lies, rumoured to be rife with corruption, though lawful.

The north? Thraben. The remains of Darkwood has spread here, right up to the less than habitable wastes of the broken remains of Khalidor, now claimed by the arctic tundra.

No news of the other regions comes to Dominia, because no news is allowed. Other than Augustin the Heirophant, only Thalia, Lady of Innistrad, is privy to external affairs, and she runs her country like a slave-camp.

The party is a band of hunters, fighting the evil which has ironically encroached upon the regime because of neglect. Before Terezi's take-over, monsters knew their place, but with science and a lack of both Godly and less municipal ruling, both new and old evils have begun to rise.

Welcome to Dominia

This is an online campaign based within a chatroom hosted by deviantArt. The game has been running for a few sessions but I've found the campaign could do with up to two more players, so I wanted to invite some new blood into the gaming group.

As a GM, I'm very casual and flexible, weighting fun over rules though not removing the seriousness of the game. I expect my players to attempt to enjoy themselves too, engage with the material provided and engage with each other, forming bonds between their characters and being more interested in the roleplaying side of things than the stats.

To contact me directly, go to my account and note me, though your own account will be necessary.

Comprehensive spelling and grammar would be important.

The setting is low magic and entirely human; magic players are allowed as long as they can be subtle about it - if they can't, they'd likely already be dead. Non-human characters are /not/ allowed, sadly, as the setting doesn't allow for anything else. There are actually several plots going on at once, and whilst many names are taken from pop-culture hubs (such as Mt:G and Brent Weeks' "Night Angel" Trilogy) the world is heavily designed and intricate. All actions will have consequences and everything can be explored.

Character concepts will be listened to completely, and I will do my best to work with players to help them craft the deepest character they can.

Game time is Sunday at 7PM BST/GMT. 2PM EST. Players from all over the world are welcome provided they can commit.

Character Creation:

Players roll 4d6 to determine ability scores, re-rolling ones and picking the highest three dice. Then assign the six totals to any column. Anything from the rulebooks go and Homebrew stuff will also be considered, especially classes.

Players start at 8th level, and when rolling hitpoints set 1st level at max and re-rolling any ones on the dice afterwards.

Any questions, message me.

Current Party Information

Clay:

Character Sheet
A crafty, devil-may-care gunslinger who cares about nothing more than his brother. Carries a unique revolver which he has slowly crafted by himself over time.

Became a hunter when exposed to the world at a young age, trying to avenge the deaths of the rest of his family.

Giovanni:

Character Sheet
Stitcher extraordinaire, wants nothing more than to completely understand and replicate the human condition. Horribly disfigured and in a constant state of putrification. Bathes in perfumes and dresses in masquerade to cover this.

Hates anything that isn't human.

Lucky:

Character Sheet
Guard-turned-traumatised-hunter, Lucky blames himself for the deaths of all those he witnessed, and thus wishes away his own existence by adopting the lives and appearances of others.

A master of disguise and assassination.

Toren:

Character Sheet
Clay's brother, and the only pious member of the player group left, chooses to place his faith in artificial angels rather than the Goddess herself.

Self-deprecating and protective, strongly despises corruption but strongly loves a decadent lifestyle, provided it's non-heretical, of course.

Grand Lodge

Expressing interest.

Note or private message me with your character concept and we can take things further.

I think you mean "comprehensible spelling and grammar". ;)

Of course, my mistake. I've had a long day, forgive me.
