Eidolon and mage armor

Would an eidolon be able to have mage armor on it? I know a monk can get by the wear no armor and I would think it would work similarily on an eidolon.

Yes you can. If however, the eidolon already has an armor bonus, the spell would overlap with it, not stack.

Remember, "Armor" and "Natural Armor" are two different bonuses.

This is why my eidolon's bonus is all in natural armor - no overlap with Mage Armor or Shield.
