The RSS feed for discussing my character sheet redirects to paizo.com/nostore, and is currently not being validated as a feed. Is this a known issue, or am I ... "special?"

The feeds for my PbP have not worked since early Monday morning. I think the last update anyone I my group received was for a reply posted around 9:11am ET — none of the replies made after than in either of two threads generated any notifications.
So while you may be special, it's not on account of the RSS feeds. You're in good company there. :)

Is it just me or is this still an issue?
RSS feeds for all my linked threats somehow don´t work very often.
For a quick check on the state of your game this is kind of unfortunate.
Of course it´s a luxury problem and you providing the forum and oportunity for PbP is very appreciated.
Is there any other possibiliy to fast check some threads except watching the forum layer above?

You might be able to add the threads you want to track to a list and then just bookmark that list in your browser. You should also be able to check for new posts by looking on the campaigns tab of your profile:

It works!
Use the "List this thread" link in the upper-right corner of the thread you want to track. If you don't already have a list setup, just create a new one and label it whatever you like (i.e. PbP Games, Watched Threads, etc.).
After you add the thread to your new list, you'll find yourself looking at the webpage for your list. Just create a bookmark to that page and refresh that. :)

I think when we get back into the office we're going to change how we handle the process that generates RSS feeds, put it on a more reliable basis. Right now it's coupled to some things that I don't really care all that much if they crash, but clearly RSS feeds are more important than those other things.

I think that would be wise, Oh postMonster General.
Speaking for myself, i use RSS feeds synced to my work email account through exchange, and having that setup enables me to have a great gaming experience, since i'm not missing any postings. But everytime the Paizo store shuts down, for updates and whatever else the goblins do, the RSS feed is always disrupted and i'm forced to re-sync all my feeds. Rather annoying thing to do during a lunch break.
