Searching for Lycanthrope Class / Archetype

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Liberty's Edge

I'm looking for a lycanthrope class or archetype for a character in the works from a published source. Something like the Shapeshifter ranger archetype but more focused and less terrible, heh.

Surprisingly, of all the 3rd party stuff out there, it looks like nobody's done a lycanthrope or shapeshifter-lite base class.

If this belongs somewhere else, please move it.

You want the Wolf Shifter from Wayfinder #5. It's free and fairly good quality. There's also a more general shapeshifter class by Rite Publishing called the Taskshaper, you can see the basic class here at d20pfsrd.com or buy the whole pdf product here.

Oh, the Wolf Shifter is precisely when I'm looking for. I don't suppose whoever did the Wolf Shifter lists changes for other possible animals anywhere? I suppose some changes wouldn't be too difficult.

The Taskshaper isn't quite there.

You might want to take a peek at Necromancers of the Northwest's Marchen der Daemonwulf if your still interested. Its a very interesting base class (the Lycaonite) and feat system (around 50 dedicated werewolf feats) that lets you imitate just about any type of werewolf from fairy tales or Hollywood.

Barbarian with beast totem, scent, regenerative vigor, and other werewolfy rage powers?

There's the 3.5 prestige class Bear Warrior, which makes you transform into a bear when you rage.

I was looking through homebrew on pfsrd the other day and and saw a Lycanthropy Subdomain which looks interesting.

Thats essentially what the Wolfshifter base class suggested above is.

A synthesist summoner is one option, you just have to flavor the eidolon form as shapeshifting.

There is also the Shapeshifter Ranger, but I found that archetype to be a bit lackluster.
