wizard gifted adept + spell specialization = +3 caster levels?

Making a wizard, and want confirmation of my interpretation of this.

Starting level 1 as an Evoker, with Gifted Adept trait and Spell Specialization feat both for the same spell, would mean I cast that spell as though I were level 4?

So for magic missile, I'd get 2 (then 3 when I'm 2nd level), plus my evoker +1 damage, so at 1st that would be 2d4 +3 per casting. That would be nice.

Yep. (Assuming you meet the prerequisites for Spell Spec.)
