Ok i was just thinking about posting on the best pfs builds thread in advice and was thinking about the unarmed fighter when it occured to me if you can ignore the prerequisites for a style feat does that mean you can jump straight to crane wing without taking crane style as they are both style feats?

I think they mean the actual Style feat. In the case of Crane Style, you don't need to have:
Dodge, Improved Unarmed Strike, base attack bonus +2 or monk level 1st.
Notice the singular in the description of the ability:
"At 1st level, a unarmed fighter gains the Improved Unarmed Strike feat and any single style feat as a bonus feat. The unarmed fighter need not meet all the prerequisites of the style feat he chooses..."
He gains a single style feat as a bonus feat and need not meet all prerequisites of the style feat he chooses.
That said, that is only my interpretation of the rules.

Addendum:
"As a swift action, you can enter the stance employed by the fighting style a style feat embodies. Although you cannot use a style feat before combat begins, the style you are in persists until you spend a swift action to switch to a different combat style. You can use a feat that has a style feat as a prerequisite only while in the stance of the associated style."
You can only use a feat that has a style feat as a prerequisite, if you are in the stance of the associated style. That, I think supports the idea that it is only the feat actually named "Style" that can be chosen by the Unarmed Fighter at level 1.
