Can I vital strike + power attack + cleave?

Rules Questions

so vital strike seems odd to me, just straight up double weapon dmg? now i see its a standard action so i cant make multiple attacks that turn, but can i do a vital strike powerattack cleave? and it would still be a standard action? that seems way OP. for my lvl 7 fighter thats basically an extra 2d8 +6 dmg that hits everything ( viscious strike +great cleave)

Silver Crusade

No, Vital Strike is a Standard action, Cleave is a standard action, thus they both cannot be used together

cleave in its description says it is a standard action by itself, so it cannot be combined with any other standard actions.

vital strike however is a modification of the attack action (one of the actions listed in the core rulebook under the list of possible standard actions) so it can be combined with other things/feats that modify the attack action, such as gory finish.

click the links and read the first lines of the feat descriptions, you will see the subtle difference in wording.
