E-Readers for Use with Paizo PDFs

As the title says, I'm looking for an e-reader/tablet that will allow me to utilize the 30 or so PDF files I've gotten from Paizo for easy reading/reference. I know I could just use a laptop and herolab, but that costs bozo ammounts of mulah that I just don't have, and I would like to not break my back carrying the over 60lbs of books to the various places I game.

So does anyone have suggestions for what brand/model/etc. would work the best for this endevour? Thanks!

I use an iPad and the GoodReader app. That might not be cheaper than a netbook, though.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook, Starfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber

I use a 32gb nexus 7. It cost me $250 and there's a 16gb version for $200. Works well for PDFs and you can grab a kindle PR nook app and use it as an e-reader as well.

Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber

Having used both I think you will get better use from a inexpensive laptop.

Tablets often struggle with game PDFs because of the artwork. My tablet is a Acer Iconia 500, by no means a low end tablet, and the load times for many pages can be quite long. This isn't so much an issue if you are reading every page, but if you're trying to flip through it's a massive pain.

I use an iPad and good reader to open it as well. Then I use good reader to open it in iBooks, because I like the layout better. Over all though, I think a cheap laptop would be better.

Second the Nexus 7. Combined with EasyPDF Reader, pdfs load in no time, and page flipping isn't much of an issue. (But then again I've rooted and overclocked my tablet, so all the apps run faster.)

Same here wih my Nook Color. I use both Adobe and mainly EZPDF. For Paizos books, I need to actually create a DF file with the front page, Open it, then transfere the book over because whatever Paizo does, I cant get athumbnail view otherwise.

I use a Kindle and it's fairly fast. I don't get a lot of lag except for the Inner Sea World Guide, but I don't have the E-Reader Friendly version of it. The E-Reader PDFs that Paizo has run beautifully on my Fire.

I gave up on my e-reader. I am going back to a laptop.

E-Reader PDF's? I didn't know they made those specifically?

Liberty's Edge

iPad 3 works great with the PDF's. the "lite" PDF's even more so.

The Lite versions of their PDFs. They are on the downloads page with the regular PDFs you purchased. They only do the lite versions for hardbacks. They are much more e-reader friendly than the regular PDFs. As for "e-readers", I use an ASUS Transformer tablet rather than an e-reader.

Silver Crusade

iPad and GoodReader app is like heaven.

Sovereign Court

I use my iPad 2 + iAnnotate app for iOS.

Grand Lodge

I use an Acer Aspire One netbook.
Lots of storage and fairly quick and around 225.00 if I remember right.

Screen size is 10.1 and it does all the things a regular laptop does in a small package. The full size keyboard is a real advantagge as my fingrs are fairly large.
All in all I like it better then the tablets I have seen.
