Ok, I could use some help with a build I am considering. I have little experience with evil characters and not a lot of experience with clerics. But this just seems to match too well to not try.
This is for Way of the Wicked as PbP
Teifling LE
Fiendish Vessel (cleric archtype from ARG)
After race modifiers, abilities are as follows
Str: 8
Dex: 10
Con: 16
Int: 16
Wis: 18
Cha: 8
(If these abilites really don't work I can switch to 25 point buy, but I would prefer to try and make these work.)
I have to take the devil domain, undecided on the other.
I like the Soul Seer alternate racial trait.
I also like the Fiendish Sight and Armor of the Pits racial feats.
Suggestions, builds, what have you seen that works, what have you seen that doesn't, etc...
Please no spoilers of the AP!!! I don't mind if someone says something like you won't have opprotunity to craft magic items. But don't say something as specific as you will really like having spell perfection on control undead when you encounter the XYZ.

Looks like your best bet is a bad touch cleric. I'd go for a Spitespawn tiefling and go from there. Unlike a standard cleric you really want that Channel Evil since it does so much. It heals allies (a rarity among evil clerics without the death domain) damages enemies, and possibly sickens or in particular cases even nauseates them.
My only question is what are you using to generate stats? I'm thinking a more balanced set of stats will serve you better. You can toss some rather potent debuffs out.

Where is spitespawn tiefling? I'm not finding it in the PRD.
Stats are a GM special
Focus ability gets an 18
Foible ability gets an 8
others are d10+7 rolled in order. No rerolls or moving.
I came out as 28 point buy equivalent, but arranged wierdly. I don't really like my cha or dex that low and I don't really need my int that high.
If this won't work, I can switch to a 25 point buy. But I wanted to see what could be done with this.

Basically Div born that has an int penalty but a cha and dex bonus. Overall not bad.
You need a little bit of Charisma at least so you can channel evil alot.
You also need plenty of wisdom for your spells and touch attack.
I'd get at least a strength of twelve, possibly 14 since you still want to carry things and especially make touch attacks.

But his begging will be in vain.
The rest of his feeble line will serve as my slaves while I recline in the favor of Asmodeus.
