Adamantine vs. Adamantine

So, an Adamantine Pick is trying to crack a hole into an Adamantine door. Does the pick bypass the doors hardness, or does the door say NO! and dent the pick?

Adamantine bypasses hardness less than 20, but the door can still be broken down eventually.

...and since adamantine has a hardness of 20 then an adamantine weapon does not ignore the hardness of adamantine.

I was not saying it bypassed it, but it can still break the door. It just has to deal with the hardness first. :)

Better to go after the material around the door, than the door itself.

Shrink Item will deal with the door easily.
