What was there, 13,000 boxes? Are you getting some extra help to get that much merchandise out the door? I can see it taking two weeks+ just to sort and ship this much stuff for a small crew.
There are about 16500 boxes just for the vampire pledgers...and that isn't counting the numerous people (like myself) who ordered multiples.

There is an update on the kickstarter page with a video of the carrying cases: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1513061270/reaper-miniatures-bones-an-e volution-of-gaming-min/posts
Reaperbryan also said that they are only waiting on a few more shipping containers of bones minis - they have the bulk already. Good news all around.
Neat find GeraintElberion!

Yeah, I was tempted to add one to my order, but decided to go with more minis instead... :/
My solution to that dilema was to spend more money... probably should have stuck with the original order :| Not sure what I'm going to do when mini-overload threatens to overrun my house.

Too bad the cases aren't pre-orderable :( I too was willing but the wallet was weak. I had to skip a few meals as it was!
I thought I saw cases on there yesterday. Maybe it was somewhere else.
Oh it was here but now it is gone: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:kt3zRA2TqHMJ:paizo.com /products/btpy8wif%3FKickstarter-Vampire-Package-Set+&cd=4&hl=en&am p;ct=clnk&gl=ca&client=firefox-a

There are some photos over on the reapermini forums. http://www.reapermini.com/forum/index.php?/topic/46803-any-update-on-us-bon es-production/page-1.
Photos are on page 6-8. Just skim the thread for reaperbryan's posts for updates.
Actually, here you go:
The foundation is poured for the new wing. The mezzanine level inside the building is almost complete - as I type the contractors are installing the safety rails and then we begin putting product on it, making room for the Injection Press, which is scheduled to arrive in March or early April. We are making significant progress, and should be ready to begin producing our first pieces domestically once shipping fo rewards is complete (or thereabouts).

Presumably, my price will shoot up soon.
Since the paizo site takes the products directly from the distributor, it looks like the distributor had the wrong price

Another bones video. All the vampire pledges have arrived, now waiting on the optional extras.

I believe their plan is to ship all the easy single vampire orders first, and then have more space to pack and ship the complicated orders.
Well,*insert mild swear word of your choice here*, with four vampires and between one to four of every addition except one (deep dwellers) and international, I guess I may be close to last

I was kind of hoping they would ship all the vampire only orders before the other stuff even arrived. Then they could get all that out of the way so when the rest of the shipments come in they could get those out the door all the quicker.
@sanwah68 – I doubt they will put you at the end of the queue, most likely the vamp-only orders will ship then the orders which have to have things mixed and matched will be queued up together.

Bryan is saying they don't want the PR nightmare of some people getting their shipments too far in advance of everyone else, so they might be holding back the Vampire only shipments to go with the others. There's is also a secondary reason of UPS discounting getting messed up if they do it in blocks instead of all at once.
He's still working it out though.

I should also add in response to Dennis' suggestion that we ship the "vampire only" orders first to clear room - there were less than a full pallet of those, so we'd clear a partial pallet. Most people got something that's on the next shipment.
There's a LOT to consider as we complete the planning so that shipping can begin, and it's been an interesting ride!
We're anticipating shipping to take about 3 weeks from day one to end right now, although we all know that plans sometimes don't end up like they did on paper, so things may still change.
At this time, we're looking at finalizing an exact start date for shipping in March.

Now I just need to learn how to paint them. With my lack of artistic talent, it's a good thing there are so many, since I'll end up ruining quite a few in the learning process.
On the up side, painting supplies are something I can buy from my local gaming store using all those coupons I keep getting for GMing on PFS game days. I think I have enough of those saved up to get $20 off my first $40 worth of painting supplies.

Do yourself a favour - find out if the paint at your FLGS has a high turn over rate. If it does, great.
If it doesn't, see if they'll order you in some fresh stuff from reaper for you (or some of the learn to paint kits which come with a lot of paint). Or buy stuff that doesn't set up / spoil like brushes or more minis.
I'd also suggest watching this ebay vendor's auctions: http://www.ebay.com/sch/kruppdora/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=& _ipg=25 (kruppdora). They regularly sell sets of reaper paints at a significant discount. It's how I got my paints.

Unopened paint goes bad? I did not know that.
I'd definitely prefer to buy from the local store than eBay. It's a great store that hosts our weekly Pathfinder Society games, so I like to give back to the local vendor and make it worth their while to have us there. Plus I keep getting these coupons every time I GM the weekly PFS game, which seems to be more often than I play these days.

Unopened paint definitely goes bad. It takes a long time, but we picked up a bunch when a FLGS closed down and a good quarter of the bottles were nearly worthless. If the shop owner has to blow dust off the paint before he sells it to you, stay clear (unless you are getting it for $.50/ bottle like we did).
