I've got an interesting idea, at least interesting to me.
Healing bullets.
We've grappled with the idea of tranquilizer darts filled with healing potions, acid bolts with potion in the place of the acid in the glass chamber, and now the considered idea of a pitted bullet where the potion is alchemically solidifed in place of a poison.
Does anyone have any thoughts, tips or reading material to make this potentially work?
I realize that any healing shots would have to over come passive AC's such as armor, but can probably ignore ones related to things like AC or what have you that the player should, somewhat, be able to control.

The concept of shooting yourself to heal is silly and irrational, though the Idea of reducing Potions into a solid form is perfectly fine.
Potion Sponge: This egg-sized sponge is covered in a
layer of waterproof edible wax, designed to absorb 1 dose
of a potion. Chewing a potion sponge and swallowing
its liquid contents is a full-round action. A creature of
at least Large size can swallow the sponge in its entirely;
other creatures must spit out the sponge once it’s
depleted (a free action). Unlike a potion that is drunk
from a vial, a potion sponge can be used underwater. A
potion can be poured from a vial into a sponge potion (or
squeezed from a sponge into a vial) as a full-round action.
The potion sponge is immune to attacks that specifically
target crystal, glass, ceramic, or porcelain, such as shatter.
It otherwise works like a potion vial
Followers of Cayden Cailean make Potion Bread, and Elves are none to make all sorts of alchemically enhanced super food.

Presuming your close enough, it would resolve as a touch attack, so armor is less of an issue, i think the challenge here is primarily the expense of getting a strong enough powder to not only offset the damage of the bullet but also provide useful healing, other potions alchemically reduced in this way could actually prove worth it though

In that case let me re-phrase, That's perfectly acceptable. Let me think, you can do it with poisons so why not? The rules for reducing a specific poison into a solid compound are in the Firearms section of Ultimate Combat, the most you would have to do is transfer the rules over (Change all instances of Poison to Potion) and get GM permission.

Ok, let me get down to specifics.
I've got a Goblin Alchemist that's going to be a pistol user.
I was thinking of having one weak pistol that does like 1d3 damage for healing bullets, so it's going to barely damage them, and a better gun for combat. Mostly staying back as a healer.
I'll be using the Chirurgeon Archetype as well.

Arrows can be made into +1 Spell Storing Arrows. These arrows can have Cure X cast into them.
Take this a step further and use Blunt Arrows to deal non-lethal damage, which is healed at the same rate as any lethal damage the target has taken.
For guns? Why, it's no sillier than using the Reach Spell metamagic feat to accomplish the same thing. Go for it. The look on the face of the first heavily injured person you point your gun at will be priceless.
