Human Cross-Blooded Sorcerer

Rules Questions

Using the Human favored class option for Sorcerer should basically negate the penalty for the Crossblooded archetype, correct?

No, it would be different. As your highest level would be less. The Favored allows to cast of one level lower then you can cast. I think it would eventually make up for the difference, but it would not negate.

Yes, but a few levels behind. The human favored class option lets you get an extra spell known at the second-highest spell level you can currently cast, which means for levels 1-3 the best you can get is extra cantrips. Once you hit 4th level, you can pick up that missing 1st-level spell, and get another one at 5th level, but you're always going to be missing one known spell at your highest spell level, which is definitely painful.

Ah, upon re-reading the entry I understand exactly what you are saying. Thank you.

Plus you would still get the will save penalty

Sovereign Court

Page of Spell Knowledge on the other hand will make up for your lost spell... for a price. Alternatively you can get a Mnemonic Vestment and scrolls of your desired spells because you still have available spell slots. Alternatively you could just focus on Meta Magic spells to get use out of those higher level spell slots, which you have no spells for.
