if you can sleet storm on someone can you cast another spell inside the sleet storm even thought the spells said you cant see inside the storm?
This recently came up for me as well as I intend to play a wizard in our next campaign. I believe you cannot cast a targeted spell, i.e. one that requires line of sight. If the spell just needs line of effect such as area effects (fireball), I think you're fine.

JamZilla is correct. Most area effect spells can still be cast into an area that the caster cannot see into, as long as they have line of effect (i.e. there is nothing in the way). There is a slim number of targeted spells that can be used without line of sight, and those usually have other special requirements in their descriptions.

One question I do haave though, How do you guys play out sleet storm or pitch darkness or anything that totally hampers vision in terms of sense of direction? Do you just allow your players to say they turn 180 degrees and walk in a straight line until theyre out of it or survival checks to avoid being lost etc? What I'm getting at is do you allow any checks to stop the characters literally walking in circles in a sleet storm?
