Sorcerers and Bracers of Armor

Rules Questions

Can a sorcerer wear Bracers of Armor (+1 to +8) without incurring an arcane spell failure chance. I've read the description of BoA and I understand that it surrounds the wearer with an invisible but tangible field of force. It also continues to state that it grants a bonus of +1 to +8, just as though he were wearing armor. Under the assumption of common sense and the description it gives for BoA, it sounds like this is not traditional armor but "acts" like armor, which means that a sorcerer should be able to wear these without chance of spell failure. Is that the case? Or does someone believe different?

There is no arcane spell failure chance for bracers of armor. They're pretty much made for wizards and sorcerers, and anyone else who doesn't wear traditional armor.

Arcane casters and Monks love them. No ASF chance with em

That is what I assumed. I appreciate your input Cheapy.
