Flurry of blows

Rules Questions

When a monk uses flurry of blows at 8th level does he get 2 extra attacks as per Improved 2 weapon fighting or it this already included on the flurry chart?

I think it's all in the chart

At level 8 you get 4 attacks in a Flurry. (+6/+6/+1/+1)

At level 8, Flurry is as if using Improved Two-Weapon Fighting, which is normal iterative attacks (2) and two off-hands.

The chart calculates all that for you, including the increased BAB.

That's what I thought. There's a player in my group that's combining flurry of blows with and off hand weapon. When a monk uses FoB with a monk weapon it's only one weapon, am I correct about that?

He cannot use Flurry of Blows and Two-Weapon Fighting at the same time.

He can certainly use Flurry of Blows and make, for example, two unarmed strikes and two attacks with a Sai. (Or four unarmed strikes, or one strike, two sai, and a trip, or two sai and two kama, etc.)

There is currently disagreement and strife as to whether a monk can attack with only one single non-unarmed-strike monk weapon for all Flurry attacks. (such as 4 attacks with one Kama)

Another question for you Grick, I a character in our has Improved Feinting Flurry does he have to use the feat with flurry of blows or can he use it without flurrying?

Improved Feinting Flurry: "While using Feinting Flurry..."

Feinting Flurry: "While using flurry of blows to make melee attacks, you can forgo your first attack to make a Bluff check to feint."

Improved Feinting Flurry only works when using Feinting Flurry, and Feinting Flurry only works when using flurry of blows. So you must be using flurry of blows in order to benefit from Improved Feinting Flurry.

You could still Feint as a standard action (or as a move action if you have Improved Feint).
