What happens if you are a level 8 Witch and have a psuedodragon as your familiar, and want to use your ability to turn into a larger form? Would you turn into a young dragon maybe?
At 8th level, a beast-bonded witch may take the shape of her familiar (or a giant version of her familiar or a similar kind of animal) as if using beast shape II.
DESCRIPTION
When you cast this spell, you can assume the form of any Small or Medium creature of the animal type. If the form you assume has any of the following abilities, you gain the listed ability: climb 30 feet, fly 30 feet (average maneuverability), swim 30 feet, darkvision 60 feet, low-light vision, and scent.Small animal: If the form you take is that of a Small animal, you gain a +2 size bonus to your Dexterity and a +1 natural armor bonus.
Medium animal: If the form you take is that of a Medium animal, you gain a +2 size bonus to your Strength and a +2 natural armor bonus.
The best you could hope for would be something like a crocodile, I would think.
As is, you can't turn into a dragon because dragons don't have the animal type.

Everything about the Beast-Bonded Witch, assumes that you always have a normal animal familiar.
It never assumes you have a Vermin familiar, or that you ever take the Improved Familiar feat, which seems odd, for a familiar focused archetype.
It would seem that by focusing on your familiar, and improving it, you lose the benefits of an archetype, that focuses on your familiar, and improving it.
