New to pathfinder and I'm rolling a wizard. I want to confirm that I'm choosing spells right.
I'm an level 1 Elf Wizard with a 20 INT.
I start with all 0 level spells and 8 1st level ( int mod+ 3) spells in my spellbook. I can cast 3 0 level spells per day (being level 1) and 3 1st level spells (1 from being level 1 and 2 from having an int 20)
Do I got this right?
EDIT: Fixed the typo, it's 8 first level spells.

That is correct Ludacrits.
As an aside is your name a play on the rapper Ludacris?
Yeah it is lol.
Acutaly you get 4 First level spells a day, if you focus into a school of magic. (1 for being level 1, 2 from high Int, and 1 from spelized school of magic)
Ah ok that makes sense. And I choose the 2 opposition schools right? It's not a graph type of thing like in 2nd ed dnd? How do scrolls work? Do you only get 1 use out of them?
I forgot to mention this character is for pathfinder society if that changes anything.

You only get the extra spell for being a specialist if you choose to be one.
Scrolls are a 1 use item.
You can use the scroll of any spell that is on your class list, but the spell has to be of a level that you can cast, and you need to have a high enough mental score.
If not then you may have issues. click here
