Weapon Storm and Manyshot

As per the spell's description, Does Manyshot get the additional force arrow when firing two arrows on your first attack? Or, does it count as only one arrow and only get one duplicate?

Manyshot is two arrows but only one attack. It only hits once so the spell is only activated once.

I don't think you would get an additional force arrow for your first attack.

It's hard to tell with unofficial spells.

It seems the spell was made for melee weapons, but that restriction is not listed. It does say 1 weapon/3 caster levels. Arrows are actually ammunition, and not weapons. The bow is the weapon so it you should do 1d8 per longbow. <---That is just a guess.

Yes, that's what it should do is mimic the longbow. But then the question becomes does it mimic two arrows at once?

The feat is already allowing you a duplicate attack multiple times for all the other attacks, so I guess those extra arrows won't really matter. Personally I don't think the feat is written well, and it is stronger than I like, but if I allow it, I would allow it all the way and let those extra arrows count. I would contact RitePublishing first however.

I e-mailed Rite Publishing two days ago, after it was first suggested to me to do so, and so far nothing.

The answer I got was "Don't know. It's difficult for things like this. Do whatever's fun."

You touch one weapon and call forth the essence of its martial spirit. A duplicate weapon made of pure force is created for every 3 levels you possess (to a maximum of 5 weapons).

For the duration of the spell, if the target weapon successfully strikes a target, the duplicates also cause damage as they attack the victim. The duplicate weapons deal only base damage; bonuses for Strength or other effects are not added.

The duplicate weapons deal "only base damage", "other effects are not added". It seems pretty clear to me that by RAW it basically gives you +x force damage to each successful damage roll, x being the base damage dice of the weapon used.

Think of it like an improved form of Vital Strike ; you only get to deal additional damage dice based on the weapon's base damage dice, and add nothing else.
