Is text-only a potential option for Paizo PDFs?

I know it's not right now, but is this something that might be in the future? Pretty please? Most of my reading is done on one digital device or another (primarily my Kindle or my phone) and even the lite versions of the PDFs cause me grief. Don't get me wrong, I love the art & whatnot, but lugging around all of my books isn't always an option, and it's frustrating when it takes forever to load every time I switch pages.

I think that the art and the words being all together under one pretty package kind of makes the paizo pdfs what they are.

Of course, if paizo were to make a text only pdf, it would have to be solely up to them to decide upon.

The hardcovers alreadyt have lite versions...

If you're viewing PDFs on a Kindle, I can sympathize, because the performance of any PDF is subject to wonkiness. However, the Kindle is an eReader. If we were to create a text-only version of any of our books, we would want to release it in a format readable by eReaders (ePub, basically). The Lite PDFs exist because we can work them into our production schedule, and they work for people on other kinds of mobile devices. The ePub format is just not plausible within our production process at the moment, and does not currently do everything we'd like it to do.

Fair enough, but it seems that my performance with these is laggy unless I'm looking at them on a full-on computer. My netbook, tablet, phone, and kindle all give me problems. I can't seem to tell much of a difference between the full version and the lite when viewing on these devices either.

Thanks for the response.
