Is there an appeals process?

I'd like to know if there is an appeals process for Pathfinder Society games. I have checked the "Guide to Society Play" (latest version) but can't seem to find it.

Thanks.

What do you mean appeals process? Appeal against what?

I was just in a game, the DM has made (in my opinion) a mistake (resulting in the death of my PC). I very politely tried to point this out and was shut down within four words coming out of my mouth - he was totally unwilling to even listen.

So talk to him again, maybe after game he can explain his actions now.

If you get no joy, speak to your VC or VL.

This.

The VOs are here to help after all.

First i would check the rules board and see if the situation is as clear cut as it needs to be for the appeal.

Of course OP should do what he can so that this doesn't escalate. But my point (and I would think FallofCamelots) is that if that doesn't work then the VOs in his area are available to help.

Your VL is Chris Chisholm, and your VC is Callum Prior, and if you want to appeal it after discussing it with them, then it's Mike Brock.

I would go up the chain before taking it to Mike.

Thank you all for your comments.

The typical process for an appeal, while not "official" is something akin to the following progressing if you do not receive a reasonable resolution at each step...

(1) discuss the issue with the table GM
(2) discuss the issue with the event organizer
(3) discuss the issue with your local Venture-Lieutenant
(4) discuss the issue with your regional Venture-Captain
(5) discuss the issue with the Campaign Coordinator (Mike Brock)

Hope that helps, good luck
