i was curious if you could use ant haul to carry and then drop or throw your load. i can't seem to find any information anywhere that is even closely related to this idea.
assuming i can't throw it (which i am) how do you calculate damage for an extremely heavy item that has been dropped or thrown at someone/thing??
thanks!

I would start with the link above. Also remember that the item you drop is an "improvised weapon" and follows the rules below:
Improvised Weapons: Sometimes objects not crafted to be weapons nonetheless see use in combat. Because such objects are not designed for this use, any creature that uses an improvised weapon in combat is considered to be nonproficient with it and takes a –4 penalty on attack rolls made with that object. To determine the size category and appropriate damage for an improvised weapon, compare its relative size and damage potential to the weapon list to find a reasonable match. An improvised weapon scores a threat on a natural roll of 20 and deals double damage on a critical hit. An improvised thrown weapon has a range increment of 10 feet.
So, it would be a -4 on the attack, and damage based on size and distance dropped. (1/2 damage for under 30', x2 damage for over 150') .

great start! where could i translate those sizes into weights? with ant haul and/or lighten object a moderate str score could lift/drop some pretty ridiculously sized items.
There is going to be some GM call for that. My start would be to compare the size of the object to a monster from the bestiary. This will at least give you a rough size.
For example, a heavy horse is a size L creature and weighs (per the Bestiary) between 1000 and 1500 lbs.
Dropping a dead horse on someone from 40' would do about 4d6 damage. Dropping the same horse from 200' would do 8d6 and dropping it from 20' would do about 2d6. (possibly less due to the "squishy" aspect of the horse)
