What makes you think a non-multiclassed vivisectionist could take that feat?
Because the archetype gives him rogue talents. Having the rogue talent class feature allows him to qualify for the feat does it not?

Vivi's don't have the class feature required for the feat, instead gaining rogue talents as discoveries.
Except that it doesn't exactly say that. They are still rogue talents. They just happen to replace discoveries.

Except it does exactly say that he doesn't receive the Rogue Talent class ability instead he can choose one specific talent in place of a discovery. As such he doesn't have the Rogue Talent class ability and can't take the feat.

If that is the case. Can't he simply take the Rogue Talents using the Extra Discovery feat instead of Extra Rogue Talent?
The only difference is what is writen in the character sheet.

I'd have to agree with Azten, as the class feature that Vivisectionist's have is this:
Crippling Strike: At 10th level or later, a vivisectionist may select the crippling strike rogue talent in place of a discovery
Hence, vivisectionist has the Crippling Strike class feature, not the Rogue Talent class feature. It does not qualify for the feat.

Agreeing with Cheapy and the rest on this, there is a difference between getting the "Rogue Talent Class Feature" and getting a rogue talent as an ability.
@Lemmy He could take Extra Discovery to get either Bleeding Attack or Crippling Strike, but not something like Black Market Connections.
Ah, indeed. I forgot he had a limited selection of Rogue Talents to choose from. My mistake.
That being the case, i gotta agree with Tristam and the others.
