Feat replacement?

Is it possible to 'replace' a feat taken at level 1, by another feat when gaining a new feat at a higher level? Is this covered in the rules somewhere?

Fighters can do it with their Fighter feats.

Those are the only two Pathfinder answers. There were rules for this is D&D (PHB2?).
